Ye Xiu nodded, committing Doggie's words to memory. As long as they weren't discovered, they would be fine.
"What if we are discovered?" Tian Jue asked, looking behind Doggie and Ye Xiu with a strange expression.
Doggie and Ye Xiu faced deeper into the alley, while Tian Jue faced them and had a clear view of its exit.
"If we're discovered, we run! What else would we wait for? These brainless things only know how to fight to the death," Doggie snapped.
Suddenly, Ye Xiu and Doggie caught on. They swallowed and looked at Tian Jue, a peculiar look in their eyes.

Ye Xiu and Doggie exchanged a glance, then turned to look. They nearly lost their souls to fright. A blood-colored creature stood behind them, holding an axe and wearing a vicious grin.
"Holy shit!!!" Ye Xiu turned and ran.
Doggie also took off at a dead sprint.
Before Tian Jue could react, he was watching Ye Xiu and Doggie's backs recede into the distance.

He wore an awkward but polite smile.
The Blood-Colored Demon looked at Tian Jue and grinned savagely. Blood-red light swirled as its battleaxe swept across.
