Go and see the truth for yourself, Yumiko.
We'll always be a reliable shield at your back.
However...
"Great! Yukino and Yui are here too!"
Miura hurried over with a happy look on her face and lightly tapped the table in front of Yukino and the others.
Even though they were in the quiet library, she kept her cheerful voice low. "I was just looking for you in the classroom and couldn't find you. It's great that you're both here!"
Ono tugged on Kamizawa's sleeve, her face full of question marks that said, "What is going on?"
Weren't rivals supposed to glare at each other on sight, or at least have a tense, under-the-surface showdown???
Why did Yumiko look like she'd just spotted her family???
Kamizawa fell into deep thought.
Don't ask. I'm just as confused.
Meanwhile, Miura gave a little cough, set down the materials in her hands, and awkwardly sat beside Yukino.
She thought she was acting perfectly natural, calm and composed from start to finish.
"I recently got interested in a campus survey project..." Miura said, her eyes darting around. "So I wanted to start by getting some basic case studies from people I know."
Yukino nodded to show she understood. "You want to interview us?"
Well, would you look at that. That made two interviews in a single day.
Sobu High sure had a lot of extracurricular survey projects.
Yukino didn't find anything suspicious about it, but Kamizawa didn't even need to hear what Yumiko was saying. One look at her bashful, newlywed-like act as she tried to trick them, and Kamizawa knew she was attempting to show off her pathetic skills again.
She wanted to snap Yumiko, that clueless idiot, out of it, so she asked casually, "Are Yukino and Yui studying in the library?"
