Whenever the Makeup Artist had encountered a girl she found attractive closing her eyes, her thoughts had tended to run in the opposite direction. She wanted to kiss the cute girl.

But the girl before her had the quality of a clear crystal, blooming in clusters beneath the sunlight with a sharp, transparent beauty.

There was a spirited quality to her beauty, along with an understated air of dominance. It was the kind that made people want to act spoiled around her.

Yukino froze for a moment, then finally realized she was being teased.

She immediately put on a stern expression. "I'm underage. Please behave yourself."

Then she added, "Besides, you're a woman too."

The Makeup Artist shrugged. "Things like that aren't uncommon in the fashion industry."

After saying that, she quickly apologized. "But it was wrong of me to say something like that to a minor."

Her lip gloss and gaze brushed over Yukino's lips. "But I can't help it. Anyone who lays eyes on your beauty tonight will be moved by it."

She'd heard the fashion industry was a mess, but she hadn't expected people in it to speak in such an exaggerated way, either.

Yukino tugged at the corner of her mouth. "...Thank you for the compliment."

She'd heard plenty of praise for her looks growing up, and by now she was almost immune to it.

After her makeup was done and she'd put on a simple, delicate necklace, Yukino got into the car. The Makeup Artist waved goodbye behind her.

Yukino turned around, about to put down the things in her hand, when she noticed a handwritten contact card tumble out of the Spare Makeup Box the Makeup Artist had given her.

[Feel free to contact me anytime, Your Excellency! ^_^]
