World Item (Part 1)

Sixth Floor Arena.

"We're finally here. If your friend statuses hadn't still shown you online, I would've thought you'd logged off."

Accompanied by a flash of white light, Naiyuan and Momonga had barely come to their senses when they heard a resentful voice.

Herohero squirmed over to the two of them. Though he had no eyes, they still turned away to avoid his gaze.

"Aren't we here now? Don't hold it against us, Herohero."

"Sorry, Herohero. Something unexpected came up and kept you waiting."

Naiyuan walked over and patted his Slime body. The soft texture was so pleasant that he could hardly put his hands down.

Momonga spoke apologetically. In the end, making Herohero wait so long had been his fault.

"Fine, I was only complaining a little. Also, Naiyuan, could you please take your hands off me? It may be a game, but I can still feel things."

Herohero spoke helplessly to Naiyuan, who was groping him all over. Those hands kept moving around, and honestly, it felt strange—strangely pleasant.

"Not bad. The sensory feedback in the game has gotten much better since that update half a year ago."

Naiyuan reluctantly pulled his hands away and could not help sighing in admiration.

Naiyuan and Herohero looked at the seven World Items that appeared beside Momonga.

A tombstone, a ring, a red crystal, a rune-covered bead, a snake-wrapped ring, a small door, and a delicate scepter.

World Item: Ragnarok

Can unleash a curse that covers an entire world. This is the curse left behind when a God falls. Apart from those designated by the user, everything else in the world will be affected.

The curse will persist until all life in the world has vanished. Those below Level 50 will be instantly killed; Levels 60 to 70 will lose 30% of their health every second; Levels 80 to 90 will lose 15% of their health every second; Level 100 will lose 3% of their health every second.

Even if one revives, the curse will remain and cannot be removed.

After being used, this item will automatically disappear and reappear somewhere in the world.

"This is twenty, right? I never expected you and Naiyuan-san to find it."

"A curse that covers an entire world... That's powerful. Even Level 100 Players like us wouldn't last long."

Herohero looked at the item's information and sighed.

"Of course. Momonga and I spent a full half year completing the hidden quest to get it."

Naiyuan said with a smile, while Momonga nodded beside him.

"I was shocked when I first saw it too."

Momonga put the tombstone back into his inventory and checked the next item.

World Item: Wheel of Benevolent Fall

Can unleash a judgment that covers an entire world. Set a range of good and evil values, and everything within the world will be judged. Those who meet the criteria will be unharmed; those who do not will die immediately.

This item can be used once every 12 months.

"This item is powerful too, though it still falls a little short compared to Ragnarok."

Herohero's previously lazy demeanor vanished, and he became completely fired up.

"Hehe, don't get so excited, Herohero. There are even better things next."

Naiyuan grinned mischievously. Herohero's reaction delighted him; he loved seeing people like this.

Hearing that, Herohero turned his attention to the next item.

World Item: Heart of Fusion

Allows up to three Players to fuse. One Player serves as the primary body, while the other two serve as auxiliaries. After fusion, all attributes will equal the combined attributes of the three Players multiplied by ten. The enemy's instant-death magic and negative-status magic must be cast three times before taking effect, and all Negative Statuses are refreshed every minute.

Fusion can be canceled when health is low. After use, the three Players will separate with full health and return to their optimal condition.

Cooldown: ten months.

"If Touch Me, Ulbert, and Bukubukuchagama used this, wouldn't they be invincible?"

Herohero stared at the World Item before him in astonishment.

Touch Me possessed the class World Champion and had the guild's strongest physical attack. Ulbert possessed the class World Disaster and had the guild's strongest magical damage output. With Bukubukuchagama, who had the strongest defense in the guild, wouldn't those three be invincible if they fused?

"Nice idea, Herohero, but getting those three to fuse is impossible. Leaving aside Touch Me and Ulbert's relationship, Bukubukuchagama alone would never agree to it."

Besides, Naiyuan's hidden class, Dragon Slayer, could unleash the most terrifying suppression when combined with Touch Me and Ulbert.

"Momonga has a point. Naiyuan, you really are a good fit."

Hearing this, Herohero nodded in agreement.

Naiyuan looked at the skeleton and Slime before him with a face full of black lines. What a terrible idea they had come up with.

He did indeed have a reputation in the guild for having social-butterfly syndrome. He could get along with anyone and had a good relationship with both Touch Me and Ulbert.

But!!! If they wanted him to make those two coexist peacefully, I can't do it.

Herohero laughed as he looked at Naiyuan. His Slime body trembled, while Momonga sent a laughing emoticon beside him. After all, he was a skeleton—he could not even laugh, so he could only live off emoticons.

"Alright, alright. Let's keep looking at the items."

Naiyuan spoke helplessly to the laughing pair, though the corner of his mouth still curled into a smile. He did not dislike this feeling.
