"It's not surprising. After all, what we gave him was far more than what he could obtain on his own." Uchiha Kei smiled. He did not think there was anything wrong with Mangetsu acting as their guide.

In fact, Kakashi had nearly become a guide in the Original work as well. He had handed Sarutobi Hiruzen's itinerary to Shimura Danzō.

The biggest difference was probably that the person he handed it to was from within the village, rather than a group of outsiders.
