"Here, I'll treat you to some ice cream." Jiu Ming placed a freshly bought ice cream in front of the Star-eyed Girl. "Where's your home?"
"Home? Don't worry about that." The Star-eyed Girl took the ice cream from Jiu Ming and began eating it without the slightest politeness. "Don't think this will win me over. Hand over what I want, now, or I'll kill you."
The Star-eyed Girl spoke with utter calm, as though she were talking about something that had nothing to do with her.
"Here, put this coat on first. You're dressed far too revealingly."
"What I wear is none of your business. If your eyes keep wandering, you won't be needing them anymore. Give me the thing." The Star-eyed Girl brushed aside the children's clothes Jiu Ming offered her. "Give me your hand."

When Jiu Ming made no move, the Star-eyed Girl reached out and grabbed his hand. After squeezing it hard twice, as though she had triggered something, the hand she held turned into gray-green mist once more.
For a moment, Jiu Ming wondered whether the girl before him was some monster that had escaped from a secret laboratory.
As if she had confirmed something, the Star-eyed Girl listlessly flung aside Jiu Ming's restored hand. "Don't test my patience. Give me the thing, or I really will kill you... no, I'll turn you into a dead man's doll instead."
