"Eh? It didn't die?" Jiu Ming stared in surprise at the enormous figures rising once more amid the wind and snow. They trudged forward on heavy feet, unwaveringly approaching. This time, Esdeath did not attack either. She wanted to see exactly what these things were—things capable of enduring so many of her Ice Spikes and still being this tough.
Once their bodies emerged completely from the blizzard, Jiu Ming could not help baring his teeth. They gave him the feeling of seeing Dr. Stylish again. Those enormous figures were practically replicas of Stylish's transformed form back then. Hmm, if he remembered correctly, he had already cleaned out all of that guy's laboratories, hadn't he?
Those giant monsters were covered in massive Ice Spikes. There were more than a dozen piercing wounds alone, yet their overwhelming Life Force kept them from dying despite such injuries. Even the two with an Ice Spike driven through their heads were still fine.

After making a slight adjustment, a deep-blue beam of energy tore through the snowstorm, leaving a fleeting empty hole in the swirling blizzard. The energy beam directly erased the upper body of the core within one giant's head. Several more identical beams followed, easily sending the other giants down the same path as the first.
"Is this thing an Imperial Arms too?" Before Jiu Ming could put away the Sealed Card, Esdeath snatched it from his hand and examined it with an odd expression. "Never heard of it."
