"Morning, kitty." Hearing the movement beside him, Jiu Ming showed no surprise as he greeted Nezha. The young girl stared at him, her face flushed scarlet.
"Y-you-you-you, why did you suddenly wake up?!" she cried out in humiliation and fury. Right now, she was wearing that cat outfit even she herself had called ridiculous and childish.
"Because I heard something." Jiu Ming said with a smile. "You probably have an inescapable obsession with using modern things."
"..." Nezha's mouth twitched. Jiu Ming had hit the mark. Because she had crossed through time, she held a particular nostalgia for things from her old era. Whenever she came across something from her time, she could not help wanting to pick it up and try it.
"None of your business! I'll wear it if I want!" With a light snort, Nezha barked at Jiu Ming twice in annoyance. "Got a problem with that?"
"Not at all." With a click, Jiu Ming put away the camera in his hand and replied blandly, making Nezha grit her teeth.
"Damn it, it's already morning. Aren't you going out yet?!" She shifted her body. Honestly, wearing children's clothes felt rather nice. They were not stuffy at all, and the fluffy fur brushing against her skin felt incredibly comfortable.
Most importantly, these clothes really were just as Jiu Ming had said—warm in winter and cool in summer!
Other than the shame and heat she felt from being caught by Jiu Ming wearing such "embarrassing" clothes, she did not feel hot at all.
"I'm not." Jiu Ming answered just as directly, refusing flatly. "What would I go out for? I came here because of your business. It's not like I should go find myself some side quests to kill time."
Thinking about it, Nezha felt that was indeed true.
