Well, Kyonko hadn't taken it too seriously at the time. The whole thing sounded rather unbelievable, after all. Dragon meat and all that—even Jiu Ming... uh, if it was him, then it actually was possible. She had been half-convinced and half-doubtful before, but now... well. It really was true.
"Uh, the kind of dragon with wings?" Kyonko asked hesitantly. It was dragon meat, after all, not some utterly ordinary meat like chicken, duck, or pork.
"No, the kind that rides clouds and mists."
Kyonko's expression changed at once. What the hell? Did it have to be this over-the-top? "...Um, don't you find it strange to barbecue something like this?"
She looked around and discovered that the only ones wearing odd expressions were a few 'ordinary people' like her... ordinary people!!
