"Just as I thought." The cracks that had remained on his body had now vanished completely.
But in Evangeline's eyes, that action meant something entirely different. Her expression changed in alarm, and an inexplicable guilty feeling rose from the bottom of her heart. This guy had actually tugged at his own clothes—was he going to pounce on her next?
