"All right. I'll keep an eye out when the time comes." Jiu Ming nodded. "By the way, those recent explosions—weren't they your doing?"
"Mhm~ Just a necessary part of the process, all for this." Amber nodded and took out that magnifying lens. Jiu Ming stared at the thing for a while and concluded that it really did seem to be nothing more than a magnifying lens. "What is that thing? A magnifying glass?"
"Of course not. Do you know how many people want to get their hands on this?"

Amber handed the magnifying lens to Jiu Ming. He examined it. This utterly unremarkable-looking lens was, just as Amber had said, quite an extraordinary item. It provided a considerable boost to a Contractor's abilities, and if it was still within the Gate, it could even trigger certain unusual phenomena.
