"All in all..." With a somewhat awkward look on his face, Jiu Ming bent the warped alloy keyboard back to its former straight shape.
"No 'all in all'!" Kaguya shot Jiu Ming a highly guarded look. "I absolutely won't believe your assurances in this regard again. A man's words really shouldn't be trusted!"
Jiu Ming felt a pang in his heart. Hey, hey, wasn't that a little too hurtful?
"Uh? How so?"
"Didn't I say it before? You said you wouldn't do such unethical things, yet you still did." Kaguya cast Jiu Ming a light, sidelong glance from beneath her lashes. "Simply too despicable."
"Didn't you also say you made all sorts of promises when playing games?"
Feeling a headache coming on, Jiu Ming said this, only to immediately receive a glare from the black-haired, straight-haired girl. "My power comes from you now. Whenever I use my abilities, how could you possibly fail to notice? This was fundamentally a premeditated scheme of yours, one whose intentions deserve condemnation!"
"You're making it sound so convincing I'm almost starting to believe it myself." Jiu Ming shook his head. "So in the end, it's still all my fault?"
"That's right!"
"Fine, I admit it."
"What a coward." Covering her lips with one hand, Kaguya lightly tossed out those words, leaving Jiu Ming rather helpless. Should he keep being stubborn for a while?
After thinking it over, he decided to forget it.
The power outage had put her in a foul mood, so that night, she unusually chose to go to bed early. Yet early the next morning, Kaguya dragged him out of bed. Jiu Ming rubbed his bleary eyes and looked mournfully at Kaguya, who was tugging on his hair. "What are you doing? Don't disturb someone's sweet dreams."
He checked the time.
