"That's because you've never experienced what power feels like." Lelouch gave a soft laugh. He also knew that Jiu Ming's personality did not seem suited to being someone in power.
"Tch. Even if I experienced it, it'd probably just be that sort of thing." Jiu Ming curled his lip in disdain. He always felt that doing so would put restraints on his freedom. Once he accepted that kind of position, there would be far too many things he needed to do. And if he did not do them... being a fatuous ruler did not sound so bad?
Well, it would not fall to him anyway. Jiu Ming only gave it a passing thought before putting it out of his mind. Things that did not matter were not worth overthinking.
Di Xue, on the other hand, seemed rather interested.
"Want to come over?"
Jiu Ming raised the page in his hand and gave it a light shake.
"Oh? What are you planning to do?" Lelouch asked curiously.
"Well, it's very simple." As he spoke, Jiu Ming flung out the page in his hand. A humanoid figure swiftly appeared before him. Inside the Mysterious Shop, Lelouch slightly raised his brow, glanced around in surprise, then found a place to sit down and narrowed his eyes faintly. Following the newly emerged sensation of transfer, he shifted his consciousness to that unknown place.
"Come over and have a look first. We can talk things over while we're at it."
"Hm? It feels just like the real thing. Is this another new ability of yours?" Lelouch looked at his hands, then at the weight on his head. Without even touching it, he knew this outfit was from his time as Zero.
He had not expected Jiu Ming to recreate it for him here as well.
