Background

Priest was formerly associated with the Satan Boys, identified by the inverted-cross tattoo on his neck. After leaving the gang, he bore a thorn circlet beneath the cross as a sign of his changed affiliation. His past also includes military experience and, according to Song 6PUS, killing many people during a corporate war. 22 24 45

He works as a mercenary to financially support his church, which also functions as an orphanage for numerous children. After the Graffiti Gang incident, he decides to bring a rescued cybernetically modified infant to the church for the nuns to raise. 46

Despite his violent past and mercenary occupation, he believes people must not be reduced to tools, machines, or commodities. He rejects Song 6PUS's claim that kindness is a luxury the poor cannot afford, insisting that humanity persists even when people lose their means of production. 45

His compassion is active rather than passive: he risks his life to free the Graffiti Gang's Human Mines, continues disconnecting them even when some curse him, and personally takes responsibility for the rescued infant. 44 46

After the team reforms under Song 6PUS, Priest joins the hunt for a suspected Cyber Maniac in Puxi District. He aids the group during the confrontation with the hacker and helps investigate the human mine operation. 33 39 40

Graffiti Gang Raid

Priest's religious conviction drives him to return to the Graffiti Gang's garage after discovering its Human Mines and captives. He arms himself with an EMP drone, launches the assault with Sun Jack, helps defeat Haixiao, and frees the imprisoned people. 43 44

Team Disbandment

Priest defends Sun Jack's decision to save the captives rather than prioritize profit. When Song 6PUS attempts to dictate who is “worthy” of kindness, Priest sides with Sun Jack and leaves the mercenary team. 45 46
