Nature and Awakening

Attributes and Quality

• Attribute-bearing Martial Souls may possess specialized elemental affinities. The Five Elements Jade Seal controls Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, while the Eternal Jade Seal adds Wind, Thunder, Ice, Light, and Dark. 6 40
• The five elements carry mutually reinforcing properties that can improve recovery of injuries and Soul Power, while also enhancing perception of elemental laws and later Spirit Abilities. 4
• A Martial Soul with broad elemental control can be used for offense, defense, healing, and control, though Ye Xiao noted that basic Five Elements Control was weaker than a comparable specialist's abilities. 6
• Ultimate Martial Souls possess extreme attributes and exceptional combat power. Their cultivation progresses more slowly before Spirit Saint, then returns to normal afterward. 84

Spirit Rings

• Spirit Rings are a core component of Soul Master cultivation and Spirit Ability use. Their known colors include white, yellow, purple, black, red, and, in rare cases, pure gold. 231
