"What do you mean, Team Leader Lin? I don't understand."
"Being exposed to the sun turns you into a zombie?"
Zhang Tie blinked blankly, staring dumbly at Lin An's tightly furrowed brows.
It was strange enough just listening to a zombie tell a story, but now this zombie was actually telling him about the origin of the virus.
Lin An raised a hand, signaling Zhang Tie not to rush, then asked the Zombie Researcher gravely:
"Evidence. Reasoning."
He asked briefly.
Lin An understood what the Zombie Researcher meant, as well as the implication behind his words.
The only reason the earliest clones had not been infected by the virus was that they had never been exposed to sunlight. After all, the laboratory was underground!
He could understand the researcher's claim that the sun was a source of psychic energy. Professor's notes had also recorded and confirmed that.
But
The idea that sunlight could transmit the virus? What was the mechanism?
Meeting Lin An's gaze, the Balding Zombie seemed to return to his former identity as a researcher. He answered carefully, one word at a time:
"Information."
"Light is a form of information, a key similar to the one that activates the Meme!"
Afraid that his explanation was not detailed enough to convince Lin An, it immediately signaled a Mutant to bring over a thick stack of documents:
"I'm sure you've heard of Morse Code, right?"
"Take the simplest distress signal as an example. If you use a flashlight to transmit it, the sequence is three short flashes, three long flashes, and three short flashes."
"Likewise, as long as you control the frequency of the light, you can transmit any information!"
"It's just like how hearing a certain story implants a Meme in us! Changes in sunlight are sending a 'story'!"
