Footsteps echoed through the empty castle interior, as if stepping directly on their hearts. Every step brought immense pressure.
In the darkness, a middle-aged woman in ordinary clothes calmly walked over. Passing through the faint light filtering in through the gaps, she quietly stood in the dim yellow glow and looked at Lin An.
"You look surprised?"
"Lin An?"
Her voice was relaxed, as if a neighbor were casually greeting him. With her plain appearance, the woman looked like an ordinary housewife, without anything special about her.
Except for the dark red glint in her eyes.
"You're the Zombie Emperor? You know me?"
Ready to erupt at any moment, Lin An asked in a slightly hoarse voice. He was certain he had never seen the woman before him.
A smile appeared. The woman habitually brushed back her hair, as if inviting a friend in:

With a gentle smile, the woman gestured for Lin An to follow her and then walked on, completely unconcerned that her back was exposed to Lin An's view.
"Team Leader Lin!? What do we do!?"
In Bear Transformation, Zhang Tie stared fixedly at the woman's back and asked nervously.
