The bustling military camp suddenly fell silent. Whether they were soldiers standing guard or officers rushing out of the Command Room, every one of them stared blankly at the ball of fire in the night sky.
They could see it even from this distance.

The leading colonel felt as though he had fallen into an ice cavern. A powerful sense of unease struck him, making his vision go black.

As they gazed at the dazzling orange-red fireball, everyone present shuddered as they thought of an incredibly terrifying possibility.

Just as everyone gasped in disbelief, on the verge of collapse, an Awakener who was extremely familiar with weapons and equipment stared fixedly at the fireball before hurriedly shouting:
"That isn't a nuclear explosion!"
"A nuclear explosion contracts inward before erupting outward, with an arcing radiative blast pattern! And because the air below evaporates, the shock wave begins from the middle and upper levels!"
"This definitely isn't a nuclear explosion!"
His voice was hoarse and strained. As if to confirm his judgment, he frantically rushed to the highest point, pulled out a military telescope, and stared nervously into the sky.
A few seconds later, he collapsed to the ground, drenched in cold sweat and looking utterly relieved.
