The colors were dull and gray, and the withered trees were mottled.
Walking along a path in the Villa District, Jiang Hao Chen felt as though he were squeezing through the intestines of a dead person.

"Do you know where the hospital is? Why does this damn place have to turn us into ordinary people?!"
Struggling to climb up the outer wall, Jiang Hao Chen complained as he tried to stand a little higher and see whether the hospital mentioned in the case file was nearby.
Unlike his complaints, Andrew merely frowned at the cars by the entrance, staring thoughtfully at the marks left by the tires.
"Climbing up there won't help. Just look for a bus stop after we get out. There should be a route map there."
Turning his head, Andrew quietly voiced his judgment. However, the moment he raised his head, he noticed Jiang Hao Chen standing stiffly on the wall with his legs bent, like a monkey taking a piss.
