Run!
Fear had arrived.
The immense pressure instantly jolted the Squad Leader awake. He clutched the armor in his arms so tightly that, in his panic, he even forgot to equip it.
His legs went weak, and a surge of hot blood rushed straight to his head with a hum.
Under the gaze of those enormous scarlet eyes, he felt every hair on his body wailing.
He had never imagined that, before he could even check the armor's attributes, this Third Order Mutant would abandon the mysterious man without hesitation and charge straight at him.
His entire body trembled. The fear of facing a Third Order far exceeded anything they had imagined.
Like him, the few Awakened who had been hiding behind the windows were so terrified that they collapsed onto the floor.
The Mutant, which had leaped back into the building like a frog, slammed into it with such force that more than half the wall was destroyed.
The entire floor looked like an orange peeled of its skin. Rotten rebar dangled with chunks of stone, and under the tremendous impact, one unfortunate man with a curved blade was blasted into the wall by the shock wave. His body slid down like a lump of mud.
Everyone's faces were deathly pale, with nothing left in their hearts but overwhelming fear.
They could not even withstand a single blow.
Before a Third Order, they were as fragile as sheets of paper. The aftershock of the battle alone could shake them to death.
At that moment, everyone wished for a crack in the ground to crawl into, so the monster would not see them.
Fortunately, the Mutant's attention was entirely focused on the Squad Leader, leaving it no time to bother with these few insects.
