Mission System

Mission issuance

• The System can automatically accept a mission on a player's behalf. Upon Lin An's entry into the Shesha Secret Realm, it imposed a Deathmatch mission that rewarded Reputation and a portion of defeated players' highest Attributes 528.
• Its missions may prevent participants from leaving an area before completion. The Doomsday System's The Beginning War required its recipients to join the Blood Zombies, investigate Shesha's cause, and eradicate the Ascetics 560.
• An Inspector described task issuance as a roulette divided among different Strength Systems; the gray portion represents special Strengths and had anomalously expanded 1600.
• High-difficulty individual missions can be used to block upcoming System tasks, allowing a player to influence which type of Crisis they face 1601.

Mission rewards

• Mission rewards can include equipment, items, Reputation, Attribute increases, exploration progress, and temporary privileges such as disguises 560 605.
• The System also provides lottery draws. Lin An obtained the Epic Catapult Giant Foot, the Orange Epic Heavenly Base Weapon, and the Legendary Death God Mask through one such lottery 609.
• It can award Special Authority, a rule-level reward normally obtainable through exceptional trials or War Zone-scale missions 770.

Authority and Exchange

System Authority

Special Authority grants a limited portion of the System's functions within its stated region and duration. The lowest documented grade is F-grade 770.

Local System Exchange

• Lin An could access only three Doomsday Web options at his Authority level, including the Local System Exchange 1664.
• Consuming Authority allows the System to generate an optimal combat-power enhancement route based on a player's Points, abilities, Attributes, and equipment 1669 1670.
• The generated solutions can propose Attribute-limit loopholes, replacement Rules, War Star-level equipment, and potential combat-power gains, while also warning of lost potential or unknown consequences 1670 1671.

Enforcement and Restrictions

• The System records Strength acquired through its own rewards and exchanges. Inspector 77 states that apparent loopholes are generally tolerated only temporarily, while exploits with excessive benefit invite immediate punishment 2022.
• During the Stellar Battlefield, an Inspector declared Lin An's mission failed for exploiting loopholes and activated the Annihilation Mechanism 1803.
• The subsequent eradication process began dissolving Lin An's powers while the mission system recalculated the battlefield 1804.
• An Inspector maintains that the System does not issue impossible tasks, even though Doomsday Progress brings increasingly large-scale disasters 1600.
• After Lin An's Secret Realm return, the Doomsday System regenerated his personal information and concealed his accumulated Talents, traits, and equipment from its panel; the Savior System panel remained unchanged 614.

Relationship with the Savior System

• Savior System — A separate System attached to Lin An. Chu An identified it by comparing its premature global advancement announcement with the Doomsday System's wording and timing 304.
• Conflicting missions — In the Shesha Secret Realm, the Doomsday System assigned Zhang Tie a mission supporting the Blood Zombies, while the Savior System assigned Lin An a contradictory mission supporting the Great Xia Dynasty 560.
• Reward interference — Lin An and Chu An concluded that the Savior System likely hid or redirected Doomsday System rewards, including Cain's Blade, for Lin An's benefit 452.
• Second Will — Following Lin An's identity reset, the Second Will inherited Lin An's original System panel and was recognized by the System as the original Lin An 996.

Relationships

• Lin An — A player whose Apocalypse Player Template activated ahead of schedule; later gained limited System Authority and access to Authority-gated exchanges 4 770 1664.
• Savior System — A distinct System operating through Lin An, capable of issuing separate missions and apparently interfering with Doomsday System announcements and rewards 304 452 560.
• Inspectors — System agents who monitor players, judge violations, manipulate Authority, and enforce punishment mechanisms 1803 1811.
• Inspector A077 — An A-level Inspector that seized the highest Authority of the current star field, sealed Authority and Teleportation functions, and trapped rival Inspectors 1811.
