Among the Nine Realms of the World Tree, every member of the Aesir and their sister race, the Vanir, could be called a "god" to some degree.

By nature, they had at least three times the physical strength and bone and muscle density of mortals. This gave them more than ten times the strength, speed, and other physical attributes of ordinary humans—far surpassing even the average Winter Wolf warrior of the Howlett Family.

The Asgardians, whose ages were measured in millennia, also wielded Rune Magic, dwarf-forged weapons and armor, and unique Asgardian technology.

In terms of overall strength, the Asgardian army was actually a cut above the Sirius Legion.

But compared with the Kree armies, which often numbered close to a hundred thousand during the Kree War, the extremely low birth rate of new Asgardians meant their population and army were both quite limited.

From the gates of Valaskjalf all the way to the heart of the battlefield, the Bifrost stretched on. Though Asgardian warriors continued to gather there, they numbered only a little over ten thousand.

That was exactly what gave the Sirius Legion, with barely more than two thousand soldiers, the chance to probe their defenses, hold their ground, and then steadily push back.

The nature of the Aesir army was actually very similar to that of the Howlett Family.

Their powerful basic fighting strength came from their greatest number of troops: super-soldiers and Mutant warriors who formed their "flesh and blood." Excellent firearms, melee weapons, and equipment supported them, while a handful of outstanding "heroes" formed their "bones"—together creating an unbeatable giant of war!

Yet now, the Bifrost battlefield was strewn with Asgardian corpses and blood. Their most powerful king was asleep, and several of their great generals were tied down one by one.

Countless Asgardian warriors
