Looking at the ten-thousand-ton freighter docked in an orderly fashion at the port, along with two of the latest military diesel-powered warships, Azazel scratched his head. He looked back at the heavily armed team arranging for the sailors and crew to unload equipment and even large transport trucks, and couldn't help but secretly ask James.

"Dad, what exactly are we doing? Are you going to war? Why were even the navy's warships brought here?"

James glanced at the ironclad ships with a strange look and said naturally, "Aren't the ships used by the navy also produced by the family's industrial sector? I just called two over for escort duty. What? Do you have an objection to going to war?"

Azazel was so excited he almost jumped up, trying his best to lower his voice as he said, "I love war! You're really something, Dad. You said you were taking me out to have some fun, and you bring out such a grand scene!"

He subconsciously scratched the back of his hand; the cloth bandages wrapped around his body made Azazel feel itchy, and he hated these things to death.

James knew that Azazel had a great passion for combat and even war. His mutant gene naturally carried cunning and bellicose factors; he loved creating chaos and enjoyed the pleasure of fighting. It was no wonder he was known as the mutant ability of the Red Devil.

"I'm going to disappoint you; it's not the kind of battle you're imagining. They are mainly responsible for transporting some things, but you will have your chance to fight."

Azazel nodded repeatedly. Being able to fight was the best thing possible. He had no resistance to combat or even killing. James had long since taken him to kill heinous criminals and perverts with his own hands, so he had already seen blood.

The team was quickly organized under the rectification of Remus Pitt. He was the "Alpha Wolf" of this generation and the captain of the Howlett Family's secret private armed force, the Wolf Pack. This team, passed down from the old Mr. Howlett, had been secretly inherited from generation to generation.

Following the leather scroll brought back by Mr. Daniel years ago, James led the way from within Kenya toward the direction of Uganda. Most of the indigenous people along the way had never seen such huge trucks or so many outsiders dressed in strange clothes; they ran away screaming while curiously staring at the convoy as it drove past.

Hum. Hum. Hum.

The team had already penetrated deep into the jungle. Kenya belongs to the tropical monsoon zone, so even in the daytime during the summer, the maximum temperature is only around twenty-six or twenty-seven degrees Celsius, making it exceptionally suitable for the growth of all kinds of organisms, especially mosquitoes.

Azazel had been annoyed to no end by these palm-sized mosquitoes. He even used his teleportation ability to avoid these pervasive insects, only to find that it didn't have much effect.

He looked with some envy at James, who was walking leisurely without being affected at all. There seemed to be an invisible air shield around his body, isolating all snakes, insects, rats, and ants.

"What are you looking at? Don't even think about this skill. You find it hard enough to practice the Evolution Technique; you'd only have a chance at this if you practiced what Remus and the others are learning." After saying this, James looked with satisfaction at Remus Pitt, who was in front clearing the path with a machete. His movements of swinging the blade were smooth and natural, carrying a unique artistic conception.

The members of the Wolf Pack were all trained by James himself, especially this generation, whom he had basically groomed since they were young. They all practiced a combat technique James named the Killing Technique. Remus was particularly talented, and at less than thirty years old, he was already close to reaching the third stage.

The Evolution Technique was a training method James specifically researched to suit mutants in controlling and enhancing their mutant abilities. It could provide body control just like the Killing Technique, but it didn't require tempering internal force, so it was much simpler.

Azazel looked dejected. He regretted taking off the cloth bandages wrapped around his body so early; otherwise, they could have helped him block these damn mosquitoes.

James checked the map again, compared the location of Lake Valkana, and signaled for Remus and the others to stop.

"You will camp here and prepare to receive the cargo. If anyone tries to attack or approach, shoot them on sight."

Upon receiving the order, Remus quickly began to make arrangements. The team didn't have many armed members, only about thirty, but there was a large group of personnel responsible for transport. Even now, he didn't know what they might be receiving in a moment.

James looked toward the east again, seemingly estimating the distance.

"Azazel, keep up." As soon as he finished speaking, James rushed into the depths of the dense forest. The air exploded faintly; his instantaneous explosive power was almost on the verge of breaking the sound barrier.

Azazel grinned excitedly and teleported away.

Natulu was dozing off, leaning against a tree and staring blankly.

As a member of the Wakanda border guard, daily patrols and standing guard were routine tasks, but this job was truly boring. The last time someone broke into Wakanda was decades ago. They caught quite a few people back then, and he heard a few escaped later, but nothing had happened for so many years. The border guard was truly the most uninteresting job in the entire kingdom.

He continued to lean back and rest while his mind wandered, pondering when he could add a few scar tattoos to his face so that perhaps Riya of the River Valley Tribe might notice him.

Whoosh!

Natulu jolted awake. It seemed like something had flown past, but it vanished in an instant. He scratched his scalp in confusion, worried about whether King had passed by and if his slacking off and dozing had been seen.

James rushed out of the dense forest and suddenly stabilized his figure, stopping in a way that defied the laws of physics by dissipating all the massive inertial impact.

Azazel followed, flashing into existence in a cloud of black smoke beside him, and said helplessly, "Dad, why go through the trouble of running over? Wouldn't it have been better if I just brought you here directly?"

"I wanted to see how far this distance is and what the situation is like in the surrounding area."

James looked around and asked Azazel, "From here to Remus's position, can you do it?"

"Don't underestimate me. I could go even further."

"I'm not asking you to go back and forth by yourself; you'll have to carry quite a few things in a moment." James teased for once, looking with great interest at the open hinterland inside Wakanda. A patrol team wearing distinct indigo-blue cloaks was not far ahead.

They stopped in disbelief when they saw the two figures in front, asked each other a few questions, and then, at the shout of their leader, drew their curved blades and surrounded them.

After getting closer and seeing what Azazel looked like, the whole team erupted into violent shouts and strange gestures. They spoke an unknown language, brandished uniquely textured curved blades and spears, and roared in anger.

Azazel looked at them with a fierce expression. Although he couldn't understand what these black indigenous people were shouting, their demeanor and emotions reminded Azazel of his childhood experiences. He slowly pulled a pair of well-crafted, ferocious short blades from behind his waist and lowered his body slightly.

James also had a headache looking at the indigenous people screaming and roaring like monkeys opposite them. He knew some Hausa, one of the three most common languages in Africa, but it was clear these Wakandans were speaking their own unique language.

Soon, the guard sounded a horn, and more and more indigenous warriors surrounded them, including cavalry and a team of bald women holding spears.

In the distance, a black shadow rushed over at high speed, leaping over streams and boulders from time to time like a black panther pouncing on its prey with all its might. He jumped six or seven meters high in one bound, flew over the crowd, and landed with a boom in front of James.
