Background / History

Tang San was a Shrek Academy disciple who wielded Blue Silver Grass and initially displayed three soul rings. He confronted Lin Yuan early on, attacking after being provoked, but Lin Yuan recognized him as the Tang San of Douluo Continent and viewed him as hypocritical for his perceived double standards concerning soul beasts 2.

After Lin Yuan exposed Xiao Wu as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast and forced Shrek Academy's disciples to leave Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Tang San vowed to destroy the academy. His desire to protect and recover Xiao Wu became the central motive behind his cultivation and repeated confrontations with Lin Yuan 7 49.

Lin Yuan repeatedly disrupted or punished Tang San: he interrupted Tang San's attempt to break through level 35, inflicted severe injuries for disrespect, and later defeated him in a duel with Pain of Ten Thousand Arrows Piercing the Heart 32 34. The resulting restriction remained in Tang San's body for years, causing daily agony and intensifying his hatred 114 302.

Tang San later underwent training that activated his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, reached the Soul King realm, and entered the City of Slaughter alongside his father, Tang Hao. There, he killed hostile desperadoes with his Blue Silver Emperor martial soul 259.

The Evil God approached Tang San amid a sudden power surge, offering strength and revenge against Lin Yuan. Tang San accepted the god's guidance and token for the Evil God Inheritance, while secretly intending to defy the Evil God rather than remain its obedient disciple 195 292. Ultimately, the Evil God possessed Tang San's body in an attempt to kill Lin Yuan. Lin Yuan and Ye Lingling defeated it, destroying its soul; Tang San died after vowing revenge in another life 328.
