The Ending

Sasuke probably never dreamed that Zetsu would sell him out at the first opportunity.

The reason was to cut off Sasuke's escape route and turn him completely into a criminal, making it easier for Obito to control him.

After dealing with Zetsu, the Raikage immediately went out to search for Sasuke, while Mifune ordered his subordinates to thoroughly search the castle. As their numbers grew, Sasuke could no longer remain hidden and soon began fighting the samurai.
