David's heart stirred. He brought the two Dragon Soul Cores closer together. Previously, the two Dragon Soul Cores had been separate entities; although both were incomplete, they would not have fused.

Now, however, both Dragon Soul Cores were David's Soul Clones. Once they drew close, they fused of their own accord.

Black Dragon Alexis sensed a subtle change in David's soul aura, a change that occurred the moment the Dragon Soul Cores became David's Soul Clones.

Black Dragon Alexis sighed inwardly. He absolutely did not wish to see the Dragon Soul Cores absorbed by David, because that would mean the last traces of the two dragons' existence would vanish completely from the world.

Yet he was in no position to stop David from absorbing the Dragon Soul Cores, and David would indeed gain considerable benefits from doing so.

David sensed the merged Dragon Soul Core. Though it was still flawed, it was far more complete than before.

When he directed his mind into the Dragon Soul Core, he felt his thoughts quicken, and the entire small world of his Soul Space came under his awareness in a single thought.

It had to be known that even after David's soul had advanced to the Legendary rank, he had been unable to encompass his own Soul Space small world with a single thought.

David knew that the soul level of this Dragon Soul Core had to be extremely high. Otherwise, even his Legendary-rank primary soul would not be inferior to it.

He considered how to use the Dragon Soul Core to increase his strength. One thing was certain: by borrowing the Dragon Soul Core's analytical and judgment abilities, his reaction speed would improve once more.

In truth, a soul alone, no matter how high its level, could not produce formidable combat power.
