"Black Fairytale: Snow White." Kiana twitched the corner of her mouth. Even she seemed speechless at the game, looking as though she had something to say but could not bring herself to say it.
But honestly.
The game was really well-made.
She had been having quite a lot of fun with it.
When she had first seen it, she had nearly lost it just looking at the title. Even the premise really did overturn the fairy tale, and she had complained about it for ages.
But as she kept playing, the gameplay was good, and the story was decent too.
So she gradually got used to it.
What else could she do?
Luckily, the Previous Civilization was fairly similar to her past life.
Unlike the next era.
Where a blond rabbit with shark teeth could dominate the entire world.
If she looked around and found that the only playable games were HooM series titles, while anime and manga were also all limited to that same thing, Kiana felt she might as well die.
She truly could not appreciate that stuff.

She was also somewhat curious about the earlier entries in the series, Black Fairytale: Cinderella and Black Fairytale: Alice, and wanted to pick those up as well.

She planned to see whether there were any other new games.
Most of these were console games, though, or perhaps cartridges for handheld consoles.
The mobile games and online games she was currently playing were much more convenient. She could simply download them from the internet.
Elysia stayed by Kiana's side, watching her shop.
She was not particularly interested in games, so her gaze remained on Kiana.
In that regard, she truly was quite devoted.
Fortunately, Kiana had gotten used to it after the first time. Her tolerance for Elysia's teasing had risen quite a bit.
Even when she noticed Elysia watching her, she could remain composed.

Although a girl with her personality had always gone after whatever she wanted, then headed straight home after buying it.
Since she had planned to go on a date with Elysia, she naturally had to consider what Elysia wanted too.

How about going to see a movie?
"Mm-hm, sure! I'll listen to you in everything~" Elysia readily agreed with a radiant smile.
The people around them kept glancing at Elysia and Kiana, intentionally or otherwise. They were beautiful girls, after all; wherever they went, they drew attention.

Elysia suddenly spotted a shop selling cold drinks over there. After telling Kiana, she jogged over to buy some beverages.
Kiana tilted her head slightly and watched her leave. Only after Elysia reached the entrance of the nearby shop did she withdraw her gaze, carrying the bag of things she had bought as she stared blankly across the street.

The traffic light was neither particularly long nor particularly short.

Her heart skipped a beat. As though she had sharply sensed something, she abruptly looked to the side and saw a speeding sports car screaming toward them at full throttle, rushing to make it through the final few seconds of the green light.
It came from afar.
Then closed in.
It was so fast that there were only seconds to react.
But because the driver merely wanted to rush through the green light.
There was no one in the direction he was headed through the intersection.
Thus, although the roaring engine was deafening enough to make the people around turn their heads.
It did not cause much of a commotion.
However!
Kiana could see that the driver was young, with dyed hair, probably only in his teens. He was one of those edgy youths, calm yet crazed, glancing at her intentionally or otherwise.

Was he coming for me?
She was a little surprised.
Yet she looked as though she had been frightened silly.
Not only did she not move, she even tilted her head.
Though there was no mocking intent.
It really did look like mockery.
Then, in an instant.
As swift as a fleeting white colt.
The sports car suddenly swerved, as if drifting, its side slamming toward Kiana like a heavy hammer.

Someone screamed on reflex.
Someone's legs went weak.
But it was useless.
The people around Kiana all felt as though the King of Hell were calling for them.
It was as though they could see black-and-white-clad staff smiling right in front of them.
The sports car charging at them in an instant was like a savage beast.
At that moment.
Human life was so fragile.

"Bang!"
A dull crash rang out.
Yet Kiana merely raised one hand and calmly stopped the sports car right in front of herself.
The concrete beneath her feet did not react at all.
Even she herself was not shaken in the slightest by the impact.
