Background
The Main World is Kiana's native world, whose current era corresponds to the Previous Civilization of the Honkai Impact 3rd worldline. Kiana lived in Canghai City before recovering her past-life memories and recognizing the setting's connection to the Previous Civilization. 1 335
Its original historical trajectory closely resembled the “false future” shown through the Sky Curtain: a civilization facing successive Great Honkai events and developing projects such as Divine Keys, Fusion Warriors, Stigmata, and Armed Dolls to survive. Unlike the corresponding Honkai Impact 3rd Previous Civilization, however, the Main World gains Kiana's intervention and avoids its expected losses. 267 335
Before the Sky Curtain's revelations, authorities intended to conceal the Honkai until the seventh Great Honkai, fearing public panic. The exposure of Honkai, Herrschers, Honkai Beasts, and Mortals instead forced governments and organizations to prepare while the threat was still in its early stages. 4 10
Role in the Tree-Sea System
- Kiana intends for the Main World to serve as the core connecting myriad worlds. 343 335
- The Main World was likely once broader than its present solar-system-scale scope; repeated Honkai energy tides are theorized to have compressed its living space over time. 173
- It is positioned within the Imaginary Tree and Sea of Quantum framework, where conventional distance matters less than dimensional differences and world coordinates. 344
- The world's technology is based on the Imaginary system, allowing its enhancement technologies to be used in other worlds because all worlds possess Real Space and therefore Imaginary. 485
- Kiana's actions within the Main World can affect related worldlines and distant worlds through her role as a worldline node. 182
History
Honkai Era
The Main World's Honkai initially remained limited enough for nations to organize defenses, though officials understood that rising Honkai concentrations could lead to mass casualties. Early threats included Honkai Beasts, Mortals, and the arrival of Herrschers. 10
Kiana's presence altered the world's expected progression. Her future knowledge, Sky Curtain broadcasts, and ability to influence worldlines allowed research and military development to proceed far faster than the original historical route. 127 262
The Honkai was ultimately cleared under Kiana's influence, leaving much of the population without firsthand experience of the catastrophe that had threatened the world. 469
Integration with the Future World
Kiana and her future self merged, becoming anchors that allowed the Future World to run parallel to the Main World. The Future World became controllable and accessible to others with Kiana's permission rather than being limited to Yuzu's access through the Sky Curtain. 328
This created an ouroboros-like development cycle: future individuals can directly guide their present counterparts, accelerating present-day progress; the resulting growth then feeds back into their future selves. 328 365
The Future World is treated as Kiana's private domain and is administered through the Star Sea Alliance. 368
Connections with Other Worlds
Kiana established a conceptual route between the Main World and the Honkai Impact 3rd world after locking in their coordinates. Schicksal received responsibility for managing that world's inter-world gates. 343
The Genshin Impact world was later extracted from the Sea of Quantum, restored as a complete world, hung on the Imaginary Tree, and logically incorporated into the Main World. Its Ley Lines, World Tree, and Seven Elements were strengthened through this integration. 363
The Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact worlds function as affiliated worlds because they are connected through the Main World. The Honkai: Star Rail universe may also connect, but remains a vast independent world rather than a dependent one. 363 396
Society and Development
Star Sea Alliance
The Star Sea Alliance is the Main World's central interworld organization. Its membership includes high-ranking officials, the Armed Doll race, Divine Persona Awakening Armaments, and powerful Servants of the Honkai. 250
The Alliance later receives authority over travel and interactions involving the Future World, while Kiana retains ultimate decision-making power over major matters. 368
Accelerated Advancement
Following contact with future counterparts and allied worlds, the Main World undergoes rapid scientific, political, and social development. Technologies and cultural knowledge are exchanged across the Main World, Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and their future equivalents. 365 397
The original Four Great Plans evolved into four more advanced projects:
| Original Project | Later Form |
|---|---|
| Divine Key Project | Divine Persona Awakening Project |
| Fusion Warrior Project | God Creation Project |
| Stigmata Project | Star Ring Project |
| Armed Doll Project | Swarm Plan |
- Fusion Warrior technology becomes widespread, with the number of Fusion Warriors exceeding one hundred thousand; the Chimera Project is subsequently initiated. 366
- Divine Keys become available to civilians, including custom-made options for those able to afford them. 367
- The Main God Space opens fully and develops into an industry of its own, providing challenges and opportunities for the Main World's surplus talent. 420 510
- Future World communication devices allow users anywhere within Kiana's sphere of influence to communicate as though face-to-face. 397
Travel and Exchange
Travel between the Main World and its affiliated worlds is increasingly open but regulated through passes comparable to passports. 365
Kiana delegated teleportation authority to official representatives, including the Star Sea Alliance for the Main World, Schicksal for the Honkai Impact 3rd world, and Celestia for the Genshin Impact world. 368
