"Sorry for the trouble." Pheobe sat on a chair with her hands folded in her lap, looking apologetic.
"It's fine. Staying cooped up in my room studying Potions all the time gets boring," Harley said, lounging on the edge of the bed with her hands braced behind her.
"Did you bring blankets, or should I ask the bar reception for another one?"
"We brought our own." Pheobe patted the pocket she carried with her, which was clearly much larger on the inside than it looked.
Harley raised an eyebrow, feeling a little disappointed.
The thin blanket provided by the bar was quite large, after all—big enough to cover the whole bed. The three of them could easily share it.
Harley didn't let it show. She simply pulled out the parchment Professor Snape had given her.
"Pheobe, have you read the details for the second round?"
"Dad only told me the general outline. The details change every year, so we have to wait for the organizers to announce them.
"I was planning to look into the specifics tonight, but Gabrielle insisted on coming over, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow."
Pheobe shook her head and glanced at the parchment. "Is that the latest information about the competition?"
"Of course." Harley unrolled the parchment and beckoned Pheobe over.
"The contestants will set out at eight in the morning and enter the Magic Garden to gather Potion ingredients.
"Once they've gathered enough, they'll return to the starting point and brew a Potion using the ingredients they found."
As she read, Pheobe murmured the words aloud.
"There's no time limit for gathering ingredients or for brewing the Potion. The only requirement is that the total time must not exceed ten hours.
"The judges will consider various factors and select the champion.
