Ronan said something quietly to Firenze, then turned and went after Bane.
Firenze walked over to Harley and bowed slightly.
"Hello, Miss Harley Potter. You should have heard my name earlier, but allow me to introduce myself properly anyway."
"My name is Firenze."
His pale blue, sapphire-like eyes fixed on Harley's emerald-green ones. His voice was very calm.
"Please don't take what Bane said earlier to heart. He's simply too stubborn, too fixated on the movements of certain planets, and as a result, he overlooked the signs in the stars as a whole."
"On his behalf, I apologize for his earlier rudeness."
Harley blinked. She hadn't really understood what the centaurs had been arguing about.
Astrologer was Sequence 7 of the Apprentice Pathway, which had nothing to do with the Demoness Pathway.
Harley didn't like using astrology, either. She preferred divination with the Magic Mirror, which involved communicating with the spirit world.
Since coming to Hogwarts, she had only learned to observe the patterns of planetary movement in Astronomy class.
As for the mysteries of the stars' movements, she probably wouldn't cover those until Divination in fourth year.
Looks like I'll have to learn more about this when I get back. I should look through some books in the library.
Harley added a new task to her mental list, then shook her head.
"It's all right. I didn't really understand what you were talking about earlier, either."
"If you don't mind, could you explain it to me?"
"Mars is drawing near, but Jupiter and Pluto are shining, too," Firenze said. His wording differed slightly from before, but the meaning was more or less the same.
