Please Let the Oldest One Sleep!
After hearing Harley's words, the Seven Lights fell silent all at once. The atmosphere turned tense.
After a while, Serapis, the Green Light, coughed and replied with a solemn expression:
"Your Highness, as we mentioned earlier, the Oldest One is awakening."
"And you are the only one who can stop Him, Your Highness."
Harley tilted her head slightly. Her eyes were as still as an ancient well as she quietly waited for the Seven Lights to offer a reasonable explanation.
"What I mean is, you're the only one with any hope of becoming the Fourth Pillar, and only the Fourth Pillar can hold back the Oldest One's complete awakening."
"Me?" Harley's voice rose slightly.
"That's right, Your Highness." Aiur Moria, the Red Light, nodded emphatically. "Because you're the variable—the only variable."
"We mentioned earlier that the Second Pillar, the great Lord of the Mysteries, fell without any ability to resist, and the Oldest One took over His body."
"That was because the great Lord of the Mysteries had secretly tried to control the City of Calamity and the River of Eternal Darkness—the two Sefirot corresponding to the Fourth Pillar."
"But He hadn't mastered any of the five Pathways corresponding to the Fourth Pillar."
"So that reckless attempt left the Lord of the Mysteries unable to suppress His instinct to converge Beyonder Characteristics. He fell into madness and was ultimately taken over by the Oldest One without any ability to resist."
"The Four Founders of Hogwarts were the last powerful beings at the Grounded Angel level. Together, they passed through a door..."
Seeing Harley open her mouth to ask a question, Hilarion, the Orange Light, raised a hand to stop her. "Your Highness, please let the Red Light finish. We'll get to that door later."
