Seeking Monthly Tickets at Month's End and Extra Update Rules
With the end of the month approaching, I just realized I've received 600 monthly tickets. It seems like... I might have a shot at reaching 1,000 this month? Could even a small-time author like me get to experience the thrill of a raffle?
And after seeing other authors run extra-update challenges, I thought I'd give one a try, too.
I won't count recommendation tickets. Some big shots can give me 100 in a single day, and if those counted toward extra updates, I'd work myself to death.
Like the other authors, I'll add 10,000 words for every 1,000 monthly tickets I get each month. For every additional 200 tickets beyond that, I'll add another 2,000 words.
Donations work the same way: 20,000 points gets you 2,000 extra words, matching the other authors' rules. But please be sure to donate within your means. I'm mainly just hoping to get some monthly tickets and experience the thrill of a raffle.
At the end of each month, I'll calculate how many extra words I owe and note it in the title when I post the extra updates the following month.
