From the moment this trip to Hogsmeade began, Hogwarts had officially entered the Christmas holidays.
There was still a week until Christmas, though, so everyone had plenty of time to keep preparing for the Yule Ball.
Of course, in a way, this wasn't good news for Harley at all. After all, she had to endure an endless "bombardment."
The students seemed to treat asking Harley to the ball like some kind of game level. Successfully inviting her meant you'd beaten the boss.
And this boss was unique: you could only beat her once during the entire Christmas season.
So the very thing Harley least wanted to see came to pass: boys and girls started coming in groups to ask her.
Some of them, especially, had a few tricks up their sleeves.
After their first invitation failed, they seemed to think that Harley had turned down so many people that she'd soon forget about them.
So they'd wait a day—or even just half a day—before turning up again with a second invitation.
This greatly increased Harley's workload and left her feeling helpless.
And what did those first- and second-year wizards think they were doing, asking her?
Did she really look like some kind of pervert?!
Harley desperately wanted to issue a solemn statement: even if she was a Demoness, she wasn't so utterly shameless as to sink to that level!
Three days into the holidays, with four days left until the Yule Ball, Harley figured she'd already turned down more than three hundred people.
Then the other two Champions, Miguel and Tsuchimikado Seimei, came to invite her one after another, making the atmosphere even more electric.
After turning down Tsuchimikado Seimei at the table, Harley picked up the knife and fork she'd lost count of setting down and picked up again.
