To avoid revealing his true identity as much as possible, Barty Crouch Jr. had deliberately kept a low profile during the first two tasks.
But now, Barty Crouch Jr. had suddenly become proactive, offering suggestions for the final task of the Six-Wizard Tournament.
More importantly, his suggestion involved a rather sensitive subject: Portkeys.
There had to be something wrong with that, surely?
Even a young witch like Harley, who wasn't very familiar with Portkeys, could think of at least three ways to use one to abduct an unsuspecting Muggle or kill someone by force.
But Harley wasn't worried in the slightest. If anything, she was secretly looking forward to it.
Ever since she learned in the second half of last year that Voldemort and Barty Crouch Jr. planned to target her during the Third Task, she had been working hard alongside the master and servant to prepare for that day.
After all, what could be more wonderful than giving Senior Riddle a surprise?
What's more, they had gone to such lengths to prepare the most important part of the ritual that would help her ascend to Demoness of Catastrophe, and had worked so hard to gather Anchors for her.
Harley simply couldn't repay such a tremendous favor. She had already promised herself to someone else...
It seemed the only way she could repay Senior Riddle's great kindness was to die in the most spectacular fashion, giving him a dignified moment.
