Announcement: Deleting Amon

I have deleted Amon.

Although I don't feel there is any "poison point" in writing this character, many people have said it is toxic.

To be honest, I personally felt quite good about it. I wanted to use this character to connect Harry Potter and Lord of the Mysteries, expanding the worldview.

At the same time, Amon was meant to assist the protagonist in obtaining the uniqueness of the Witch Pathway, trap and kill Cheek, and deal with Medici (Amon and Medici don't get along), accommodate the uniqueness of dual pathways, and cooperate with the City of Cataclysm to become an Old One.

Regarding the gender of Amon that I previously wrote, as an angel, Amon does not have a gender. He has even appeared in various animal forms, so I felt that writing him as a female was not a problem.

As for why I designed a female Amon and how I would justify the logic, I originally had ideas for that as well.

I wanted to write that Amon held a vote among his avatars to create a special one.

After all, there is a precedent for this; he has deceived his own avatars and held avatar voting meetings before.

(The incident regarding the deception of avatars is in the original work, where the Marauder pathway angel Pallez Zoroast-Zoroast urged others from the Hermits of Fate to explore the treasure of the Jacob family, which was something Amon said himself.

He said that he had devoured the ancestor of the Jacob family back in the Fourth Epoch and left a sleeping avatar in that treasure.

The other avatars did not know this information. Therefore, Pallez Zoroast-Zoroast also said he didn't lose unjustly, as Amon even deceives his own avatars.)

Back to the point, Amon created a special avatar to capture Harley.

After all, his main energy during that period (the time before and during the war between the Evernight Goddess and the God of Combat) was focused on Klein, and most of his power was also spread out.

So Amon needed a special avatar, along with the records of Harley at Sequence 6, to go and use a female avatar to lure Harley.

And to deceive Harley more effectively, this avatar was set to be absolutely in love with her, and its strength was only just at the demigod level.

In the end, this avatar passed through the door of Mr. Door with Harley, and after moving away from the main body, it rebelled (avatars can rebel; there is a precedent, though I forgot where it was in the original work. Regardless, because of that event, Klein became very careful about managing his own Worms of Spirit).

Finally, Harley assisted this avatar in counter-devouring the Sequence 2 level Amon (the timeline corresponds to the ending).

There were many other settings; I wrote thousands of words in my outline about this stuff. However, since many readers feel it is toxic, then I'll just delete it. Anyway, he only appeared twice, for about 100 words.

And indeed, having two transmigrators in this kind of "return" story does seem to be a poison point, and many places would appear too deliberate.

Besides, Amon's image in the original work is indeed leaning towards male, even though I found a very good picture of a female Amon.

Turning him into a female is indeed not very friendly to many readers who came here because of Lord of the Mysteries.

So let him disappear. Honestly, I originally wanted to write some very interesting side stories about her and Harley.

As for the previous chapters, I have also modified them. It was only two chapters anyway; I changed Amon's influence on the Sorting Hat to Professor Dumbledore.

Today's chapters will be a bit late, but there will definitely be two updates. The next two chapters were both about Amon; I had already written a scene with a black-stockinged royal sister teasing a little witch in pink. It's a pity. Now I have to rewrite them.
