Volume One had come to an end.
This book moved at a fairly fast pace, mainly because I didn't want to pad it out. After all, I started writing it because I loved the story, so there was no point in dragging things out.
Besides, in the first year, the protagonist was limited by their status and abilities, so there wasn't much room to add extra storylines.
I'll try to expand the story later on, so don't worry about the book ending too soon.
