They didn't do much direct damage, but they were extremely insulting and could inflict severe psychological harm on an enemy.
The only drawback was that these tactics could also enrage the enemy and make it fight Harley to the death.
The little monster stared at the Magic Mirror, confusion on its face.
It examined the large envelope that held the mirror, but there wasn't a single word on it—not even an address.
It also checked Hedwig, who was lying unconscious nearby, but there wasn't a second letter on her.

The first was Transfiguration. The piece of bread, which Harley had marked in advance, turned into a mouse and began struggling inside the little monster's mouth.
The little monster seemed startled by something. It immediately stood still and began banging its head against the ground, trying to get the mouse out.
That left it no time to react, and the second spell struck it squarely.
