Chapter Summaries

Sarutobi Toru, posing as Shennong, persuaded the Akatsuki Organization to target the Five Kage Summit instead of attacking Kumogakure for the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki. At the summit in the Land of Iron, the Fourth Raikage arrived and learned that Konoha’s Hokage had not yet appeared.

• Sarutobi Toru introduced himself as Shennong to the Akatsuki Organization, and Nagato announced plans to capture the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki.
• Sarutobi Toru warned that attacking Kumogakure would not draw out the hidden Jinchuriki and proposed capturing the Fourth Raikage at the Five Kage Summit to learn his location.
• Nagato and Obito agreed to attack the Five Kage Summit and use the resulting confusion to turn the Five Great Shinobi Villages against one another.
• The Fourth Raikage arrived at the Land of Iron, where Mifune told him that the Kage of every village except Konoha had arrived.

The Five Kage Summit was attacked by Nagato and Uchiha Obito, who demanded the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki and forced the gathered shinobi into battle. The chapter ended as Kisame Hoshigaki flooded the battlefield with Great Exploding Water Wave, scattering both sides.

• Namikaze Minato arrived at the summit with Jiraiya and Kakashi, while Uchiha Obito and Nagato watched from a nearby mountaintop and prepared to attack.
• Nagato struck the summit venue with Shinra Tensei, destroying the roof and severely injuring Baki and his Shadow Guards.

• Sarutobi Toru teleported to a secluded valley in the Land of Snow with Pakura and the Ten-Tails.
• Snow Ninjas spotted the Ten-Tails and gathered around Sarutobi Toru, including their leader, Touma Hyobaku, and a promising pink-haired girl.

• Sarutobi Toru shattered the One-Horned White Whale with a punch, frightening Dongxiong Bingbao and the Snow Ninja.

• Sarutobi Toru gathered the Snow Ninja at the Training Ground and brainwashed them all into submission.
• Sarutobi Toru chose Tsurugi Fubuki to guide him to the royal palace and flew there with her on the Flying Nimbus.
• Tsurugi Fubuki led Sarutobi Toru through the palace, where he knocked out the Snow Ninja sentries they encountered.
• Four Snow Ninja sounded the alarm outside Kazahana Dōtō’s bedchamber, but Sarutobi Toru knocked them unconscious and entered.
• Sarutobi Toru found Kazahana Dōtō half-naked and hurriedly putting on a bulky prototype Chakra Armor.

Sarutobi Toru overpowered Kazahana Dōtō and the Snow Ninja who rushed to defend him, then brainwashed them all. The Land of Snow’s ruler and his guards woke as Sarutobi Toru’s obedient tools.

• Kazahana Dōtō put on his Chakra Armor and tried to threaten Sarutobi Toru, but Sarutobi Toru’s Air Bullets wounded him and shattered his confidence.
• Kazahana Dōtō offered to pay Sarutobi Toru three times what Kazahana Koyuki had supposedly promised, and Sarutobi Toru dismissed the misunderstanding.
• Sarutobi Toru sensed the Snow Ninja surrounding the bedchamber and knocked Kazahana Dōtō unconscious with an Air Bullet.
• Nadare Rōga attacked Sarutobi Toru with Ice Release, but Sarutobi Toru destroyed the technique with a punch and knocked Nadare and the other Snow Ninja unconscious.
• Sarutobi Toru brainwashed Kazahana Dōtō, Nadare Rōga, and the other Snow Ninja while they were unconscious.

Sarutobi Toru expanded the Ten-Tails into a colossal God Tree in the Land of Snow, prompting Pakura to worry that its growth and energy absorption would draw attention. Namikaze Minato convened the Five Kage and arranged an expedition to investigate the abnormal Natural Energy, leaving the villages preparing to respond.

• Sarutobi Toru returned to the valley, reunited with Pakura, and used his Hormone Fruit ability to make the Ten-Tails grow.
• The Ten-Tails transformed into a towering God Tree whose roots destroyed the Snow Village base and forced the Snow Ninja to leave.
