"Won't you introduce us, little brother Minato?" Sarutobi Toru asked with a smile, glancing at the red-haired beauty beside Namikaze Minato.
"Haha, her name is Uzumaki Kaori. She's my girlfriend," Namikaze Minato said openly, without the slightest hint of awkwardness on his face.
"Hello, Lord Sarutobi." Uzumaki Kaori, on the other hand, looked somewhat reserved.
Seeing Kaori's expression, Sarutobi Toru stroked his chin. "Did you know me before?"
"Ah, I once worked as Lord Hiruko's assistant in Summoning Beast Research and signed a Confidentiality Agreement. During that time, I happened to meet you a few times, my lord," Uzumaki Kaori said respectfully.
"Oh?" Sarutobi Toru looked at Kaori in surprise. He had not expected her to be research personnel. And her field was Biotechnology, which had little to do with Sealing Jutsu.
Thinking carefully, he did seem to have some impression of her. He had apparently seen this girl at Hiruko's place a year ago.
Of course, that did not stop Sarutobi Toru from teasing Namikaze Minato.
"Not bad. You actually managed to win over a girl from the Uzumaki Clan. You're quite something, kid," Sarutobi Toru whispered, patting Namikaze Minato on the shoulder.
After all, the Uzumaki Clan was not like Uzumaki Kushina in the Original Work, all alone by herself. An entire Bloodline Clan had joined Konoha Village, so when it came to marriage, their own clansmen would naturally be the first choice.
Whether for the pride of a Bloodline Clan or for the future ninja talent of their children, marriage within the clan was the best option for Bloodline Clans.
The Hyuga Clan and Uchiha Clan hardly had any members who married outsiders, especially among their ninja.
Though in a few more years, the Uchiha Clan would probably have quite a few members marrying outside the clan.
