After skimming through the intelligence, Sarutobi Toru casually handed it to Hizashi Hyuga. Frowning, he said, "Has this ancient monster Moryo appeared before? Is there any information on it?"
Sarutobi Hiruzen took a puff of his cigarette and answered bluntly, "No idea. You should know that the last record of Moryo's appearance was probably from before Konoha Village was founded. Back then, everyone belonged to ninja clans. As long as it didn't come near their own territory, who would care about some random monster that had crawled out of the Land of Demons?"
"Based on the intelligence gathered after Konoha was founded, ancient monsters like Moryo do indeed exist. The Land of Demons also seems to have some sort of agreement with the Five Great Nations. According to the intelligence sent by the capital of the Land of Fire, it really is quite a troublesome fellow."
"Fine, I asked for nothing." Sarutobi Toru sighed. That answer was certainly realistic enough.
After reading the intelligence, Hizashi Hyuga casually placed it back on the Hokage's desk and asked, "So our mission is to protect Miko Miroku until she finishes sealing Moryo?"
"That's right. Exactly."
"But I'm not questioning anything." Hizashi Hyuga wore a strange expression. "This Miko's claim that she foresaw the future, that Moryo will definitely break out of its seal soon... isn't that a little..."
"Whether her so-called prophecy is real or not, since she has already delivered the advance payment to Konoha, we will naturally treat it as a mission and complete it," Sarutobi Hiruzen said calmly.
"Besides, the Prophecy Art of the Miko of the Land of Demons is very famous in their country. Monsters like Moryo do exist, so I don't think she would lie about something like this."
