"Since that's the case, use Dust Release to blast a large hole beside the volcanic summit. I'll jump straight in and deal with Moryo," Sarutobi Toru said after giving it some thought.
Opening a hole beside the summit was no difficult task for Ōnoki.
Because of Moryo, the summit of this volcano was actually sealed shut. But since the mountain's interior was hollow, boring a hole into it was far easier than dealing with solid rock. In fact, if he were not worried about causing the mountain to collapse, Sarutobi Toru could have done it himself.
"Fine, leave it to this old man," Ōnoki said, smacking his lips.
With that, Ōnoki formed hand seals. A circular beam of light pierced through the entire volcano, instantly leaving behind a bottomless hole.
Sarutobi Toru nodded, then frowned as he looked at Hizashi Hyuga and Aburame Shibi.
"Don't worry. We can protect ourselves," Hizashi Hyuga immediately understood what Sarutobi Toru meant.
Sarutobi Toru thought it over. The two of them were Konoha Jōnin, after all. They would not die from the aftershocks of his battle with Moryo.
Still, there seemed to be no point in having them go down. Sarutobi Toru directly led the two of them to Miko Miroku and said, "Lady Miko, I'll go down first and weaken Moryo. Hizashi will relay the information. Once Hizashi sees me defeat Moryo, bring the Miko down."
With Hizashi Hyuga's Byakugan, it would be difficult to see the exact state of the battle through the thick layers of rock, but he could at least observe Sarutobi Toru's and Moryo's Chakra.
Yet Sarutobi Toru spoke of defeating Moryo as casually as if he were going out to buy groceries, drawing quite a few strange looks.
"All right, time to head down." A faint smile appeared
