With a smile at the corners of his lips, Sarutobi Toru greeted the Akatsuki Organization members one by one, perfectly fitting the persona of Shennong he was currently playing.
Nagato, standing at the head of the room, spoke directly. "All right. We've met the new member. Let's discuss the next phase of our plan."
In the Original Work, Nagato had always appeared before everyone as the puppet Pain. But now, after receiving Hashirama Cells, his health had improved considerably, and his legs had regained their mobility. Thus, it was always Nagato himself appearing now rather than a puppet.
Sarutobi Toru turned his gaze toward Nagato. Though Nagato was no longer as horrifyingly gaunt as he had been in the Original Work, his complexion was still somewhat sallow, and his lips pale. His once vibrant red hair also looked somewhat withered now.
Hashirama Cells can't completely offset the drain of the Rinnegan and the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path! Sarutobi Toru sighed inwardly. Clearly, Nagato was already suffering from certain health problems.
"Of all the Tailed Beasts, only the Eight-Tails remains uncaptured. Therefore, I intend to attack Kumogakure again. This time, we must seize the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki," Nagato said
