With that thought, Sarutobi Toru summoned several blank Summoning Scrolls and laid them open before the nine Tailed Beasts.
"Everyone, the Akatsuki Organization captured you and sacrificed you to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. I'm the one who rescued you, so it's not too much to ask for a little compensation, is it?" Sarutobi Toru smiled at the Tailed Beasts. If not for the Rinnegan still active in his eyes, he might have looked even friendlier.
What could the poor, helpless Tailed Beasts do? They could only nod and agree.
Only after every Tailed Beast had given blood and signed its name on the Summoning Scrolls did Sarutobi Toru deactivate his Rinnegan.
The Tailed Beasts had two forms: flesh-and-blood bodies and Chakra bodies. Once they transformed into Chakra form, Sarutobi Toru had no way to forcibly draw their blood.
Still, these Tailed Beasts seemed rather sensible. There was no need for Sarutobi Toru's iron fists to set them straight.
Once everything was settled, Sarutobi Toru immediately said, "All right, you're free now. Go wherever you want."
The Tailed Beasts' faces immediately lit up with delight. Becoming summoned beasts was hardly what they wanted, but it was far better than being sealed away.
"Then we're leaving. We're really leaving," Shukaku said, his tiny eyes darting about as he patted his round belly. He spoke to Sarutobi Toru while making his way toward Snow Valley's entrance.
"It's fine. I have your Summoning Scrolls, after all. Finding you again would be easy," Sarutobi Toru
