"So, this was the condition for Iwagakure to agree to merge into Amegakure?" Sarutobi Toru asked Pakura beside him, his hands clasped behind his back as he looked at the young man and woman before him.
"That's right. These are my two new disciples, Deidara and Kurotsuchi," Pakura said, one hand on her hip. "One was formerly the disciple of Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage, while the other is his granddaughter."
Sarutobi Toru glanced them over. Deidara was now a boy of around ten, with blond hair and a face full of mischievous expressions. He looked no different from an ordinary rebellious troublemaker.
Yet the Chakra fluctuations around him already rivaled those of an average Jōnin, and a powerful, explosive aura faintly pulsed through his body. Clearly, he had already attained considerable skill in Explosion Ninjutsu.
In the Original Work, he had joined the Akatsuki Organization at the age of one. Uchiha Itachi had personally defeated him with genjutsu before he finally joined. Even if his strength had not reached Kage-level at the time, it could not have been far off, showing just how talented he was.
Kurotsuchi, meanwhile, looked only seven or eight years old. With black hair and fair skin, she resembled an adorable porcelain doll.
However, she had kept her head lowered in silence, her expression calm and indifferent. Clearly, Iwagakure's current circumstances had dealt her quite a blow.
There was even less need to mention her. She would become Tsuchikage in the future, so no matter how poor her talent was, it could not possibly be that poor.
With these two becoming Pakura's disciples, it was obvious what Iwagakure was planning. They simply intended to wait until the two grew up and see whether they could inherit the position of Rain Kage, thereby restoring Iwagakure in another form.
