Minato vs. Obito

At that moment, a gloomy voice rang out. The speaker was Danzo, who had joined forces with Obito and rushed to the Uchiha Clan's compound.

Behind Danzo stood a large group of Root Organization shinobi.

"Lord Danzo, what do you mean by this? As the village's Konoha Military Police Force, our Uchiha Clan bears the responsibility of protecting the village. Why are you stopping us now? What are you planning?" Uchiha Fugaku stepped out of the crowd and questioned Danzo.

"Who am I? Who knows?"

"Then what's your purpose in attacking Konoha?"

"My purpose?" Obito paused, then pulled a long iron chain from beneath his cloak. At each end was a metal cuff. He shook the chain and fastened the cuffs around his wrists.

"To bring peace to the Ninja World!"

Before the words had even left his mouth, Obito rushed at Minato. The long chain looped behind him, forming a snare meant to catch an enemy behind him as they passed.

Seeing Obito take the initiative, Minato immediately counterattacked, charging at him with a specially made Flying Thunder God Kunai in hand.

Just as Minato had expected, his kunai passed straight through Obito's body. A physical attack couldn't harm someone occupying a different space-time.

As Minato passed through Obito's Hollowfied body, Obito instantly ended his Hollowfication. The loop of chain behind him immediately closed around Minato, who was right behind him!

But before Obito could activate Kamui, Minato escaped the chain's grasp with the Body Flicker Technique.

It had only been one exchange, but when Minato combined it with the details of their earlier encounter, he had already figured out most of Obito's abilities and weaknesses. As a tactical genius, he now had a plan to deal with him.

With his plan set, Minato turned without hesitation and rushed at Obito again. When he reached the right distance, he threw the Flying Thunder God Kunai in his hand at him.

Just as Obito thought victory was within his grasp, Minato vanished from before his eyes. In that instant, Minato had used Flying Raijin: Level 2 to appear behind him, beside the Flying Thunder God Kunai.

"Damn it!" Obito cried.

With a loud bang, Minato slammed the Rasengan in his hand down onto Obito. Since he wasn't Hollowfied, Obito took the full force of the blow and was driven hard into the ground. The impact shattered the earth and sent rocks flying in every direction, kicking up a vast cloud of dust.

What Obito didn't know was that at the same time he struck him, Minato had also left a Flying Raijin Mark on his back.

As the dust slowly cleared, a circular crater about four or five meters across came into view. Obito used the Body Flicker Technique to appear on a nearby mound of earth. Thick white, viscous matter dripped from beneath his cloak where the Rasengan had struck the side of his body. His left arm had fallen to the ground as well.

At the same time, the Sharingan mark in the Nine-Tails' eyes vanished as it rampaged through Konoha, and its pupils returned to those of a fox.

Freed from Obito's Sharingan control, the Nine-Tails grew even more furious. It raised its head and let out a terrifying roar toward the sky!

"Everyone, run! The Nine-Tails is out of control!"
