"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

After the match officially began, Shisui quickly formed hand seals, unleashing the Great Fireball Technique to tactically pin down Yusuke.

"Scorch Release: Flame Return."

Yusuke countered with his own hand seals. Like a whale drawing in water, the Great Fireball spat from Shisui's mouth was entirely absorbed into the seal held in Yusuke's hands.

Then, Yusuke opened his mouth and spat out a massive, crimson-gold fireball, surging toward Shisui.

This crimson-gold fireball was visibly larger than the one Shisui had unleashed, and its temperature was clearly higher; the ground it touched was scorched to ash, leaving a deep depression in the earth.

Seeing that Yusuke's Scorch Release was not easily blocked, Shisui immediately leaped high into the air, retreating to dodge the counterattack.

"Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson."

While in mid-air, Shisui fired over a dozen shuriken wrapped in flames, spinning at high speed toward Yusuke.

However, Shisui's Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson was not so simple. He formed more seals, using genjutsu to multiply the number of shuriken several times over, making it impossible to distinguish the real from the fake.

Facing the overwhelming barrage of flaming shuriken, Yusuke knew the best approach was to use an area-of-effect technique to clear them all at once. He quickly formed hand seals, unleashing a Scorch Release technique that no one present had ever seen before.

"Scorch Release: Burning Wind."

A massive, crimson tornado formed in front of Yusuke, blowing toward Shisui and his shuriken. Every shuriken touched by the crimson tornado was sucked into its vortex, while those that remained outside were revealed to be mere genjutsu clones, lacking substance or offensive power.

Seeing these techniques, the ninjas in the stands of the Training Ground were stunned by the depth of Yusuke's ninjutsu mastery.

"I never expected Uchiha Yusuke's ninjutsu to be this formidable, and he seems to have mastered Scorch Release," Asuma said, dumbfounded.

"Indeed. His control over fire-style chakra was already masterful, and he somehow achieved the nature transformation for Scorch Release chakra. In his early days, he was always a ninjutsu-specialist ninja."

"It was only during the battle against Raiga Kurosuki of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist that he first used that sword technique to control flames. Kakashi pressed a hand to his forehead and shook his head helplessly.

On the training ground, Shisui's body had been swept into the crimson tornado Yusuke created, drawing gasps from the audience.

However, the one swept into the tornado was not Shisui's true body. Shisui had already used the Body Flicker Technique to appear behind Yusuke, drawing the katana from his back to strike at Yusuke's spine.

Yusuke, keenly sensing Shisui's movement, turned instantly. A gorgeous tachi appeared in his hand, parrying Shisui's attack. This tachi was none other than Ryujin Jakka, still in its sealed state.

The two blades locked together, and Yusuke and Shisui stared into each other's eyes. Shisui's gaze was filled with persistence and determination to win, while Yusuke's eyes remained indifferent and calm.

Shisui swung his katana hard, using the recoil from the clash to leap backward.

"Uchiha Style: Sword Jump Flame!"

Flames rose from Shisui's katana, forming a blade of fire that slashed toward Yusuke.

Yusuke was slightly taken aback; this was the first time someone had attacked him with a flaming blade. He dodged the flame slash with a sidestep and immediately initiated his shikai.

"All things in the universe, turn to ashes."

Just as Yusuke released Ryujin Jakka, Shisui formed a seal with his left hand and vanished from sight.

Yusuke turned immediately, facing Shisui, who was now employing his ninja sword technique.

"Uchiha Style: Gale Sword."

Shisui swung his katana rapidly, sending four even larger flame slashes toward Yusuke. Despite the name "Gale Sword," Yusuke couldn't see what this technique had to do with a gale.

With a slight smirk, Yusuke didn't believe Shisui's flame slashes could surpass Ryujin Jakka, even if it wasn't operating at full power!

Yusuke swung Ryujin Jakka horizontally, and a crimson flame arc flashed, causing all four of Shisui's flame slashes to dissipate into nothingness.

"It seems the title 'Flame Tachi' isn't just for show. When it comes to playing with fire on a blade, Uchiha Shisui is clearly no match for Uchiha Yusuke," Asuma laughed, and the surrounding ninjas nodded in agreement.

"But Uchiha Shisui isn't famous for his Fire Release; his nickname is 'Body Flicker Shisui.' It seems their duel hasn't reached the critical moment yet," Kurenai analyzed.

Seeing Kurenai rarely offer an opinion, Asuma nodded repeatedly in agreement: "That makes sense!"

On the training ground, Shisui frowned as he watched the longsword in Yusuke's hand burning with raging flames. He could see that the principle behind the flames on Yusuke's blade was completely different from his own, and the intensity of the fire was on an entirely different level.

"As expected, I cannot defeat you, Senior, without using my Body Flicker secret technique," Shisui said slowly.

He still did not view Yusuke as an equal opponent; in his eyes, his Body Flicker secret technique was enough to handle Yusuke, not to mention he still had his hidden trump card—the Mangekyou Sharingan!

"Good. I also want to see the true power of 'Body Flicker Shisui's' secret technique," Yusuke said calmly.

As soon as Yusuke finished speaking, Shisui began to move rapidly. With every flicker, he left behind an identical phantom, making it impossible to distinguish the real from the fake.

These phantoms were all real, yet all fake. Shisui's true body could flicker into any of these phantoms to attack, or flicker to the position of an unattacked phantom when he himself was targeted!

By the time sixteen phantoms appeared, Yusuke was secretly impressed by Shisui's strength. If an ordinary ninja encountered this technique, they would be completely helpless.

Facing the army of Shisui rushing toward him, Yusuke held Ryujin Jakka and stepped forward instead of back. As their figures crossed, Yusuke swung Ryujin Jakka, dragging a crimson tail of flame and carving trails of fire through the air.

This was the exact technique Yusuke had once used against Obito!

In terms of combat experience, Shisui was clearly more seasoned than Obito.

Shisui keenly sensed that these flame trails left in the air were extremely troublesome. If he flickered to a phantom's position to launch an attack and touched these flames, even a single spark would ignite him instantly due to the power of this Fire Release—or perhaps, Scorch Release!

Sixteen of Shisui's phantoms surrounded Yusuke, but no matter where these clones moved, Yusuke always used Ryujin Jakka in time to carve flame trails that restricted his opponent's movement.

By observing the Shisui phantom clones that remained unharmed within the trails of flame, Uchiha Yusuke could immediately determine that none of them were the real body, which in turn made it easier for him to pinpoint Shisui's true location.

On the Training Ground, Uchiha Yusuke swung Ryujin Jakka with wide, sweeping motions, leaving behind gorgeous trails of flaming blade light in the air that looked like crimson ribbons, dazzling all who watched.

Shisui, however, was completely unable to unleash the full power of his signature Body Flicker Technique, forced to switch back and forth only between the few phantom clones not caught in Uchiha Yusuke's flame trails, which caused him to shift from an offensive position to a defensive one.

Increasing his chakra input, Shisui accelerated the movement speed of his phantom clones, actively dodging Uchiha Yusuke's flame slashes while simultaneously attacking Uchiha Yusuke with his katana.

Although Uchiha Yusuke tried his best to widen the range of his offense and defense with every strike, he could not achieve a 360-degree coverage without blind spots, leaving behind enough gaps for Shisui to launch counterattacks.

"Scorch Release: Flame Run Technique."

Uchiha Yusuke formed hand seals with his left hand, beginning to execute his own flame-based movement technique. Wherever the flames of Ryujin Jakka reached, Uchiha Yusuke could instantly teleport to that position using the Scorch Release: Flame Run Technique.

If Uchiha Yusuke were present, he would surely have inwardly mocked Kakashi for already positioning himself as the "five-fifty" ninja.

On the other side of the spectator stands, the Hyuga brothers, Hyuga Hiashi and Hizashi Hyuga, activated their Byakugan to observe the battle between Uchiha Yusuke and Shisui.

"Brother, even with my Byakugan, I cannot distinguish Uchiha Shisui's real body," Hizashi Hyuga said, frowning.
