Ending the Western Conference All-Stars' Two-Game Winning Streak

After halftime ended, the players from both sides returned to the court.

Right from the start of the third quarter, Goodwin switched into attack mode. He first shook off his matchup, Kevin Durant, drove to the basket, scored a layup through Andrew Bynum's contact, and drew Bynum's foul for an and-one!

Swish. The free throw went in, giving him three straight points.

Then, with Kevin Durant defending him, he stopped sharply and pulled up for a mid-range fadeaway. The ball traced a beautiful arc through the air before swishing cleanly into the basket.

Next, he posted up Kevin Durant, forcefully backing him down. Durant staggered backward again and again, and Goodwin seized the opening to spin into his signature move—the Golden Rooster Stands Alone—sending the ball steadily into the hoop.

In less than two minutes, Goodwin had personally exploded for 7 points, leading his team on a 7–2 run.

But Goodwin's show was far from over.

Goodwin seemed blessed by the gods, utterly unstoppable. Whatever he tried went in, leaving his defender Kevin Durant groaning in misery. In the end, the Western Conference All-Stars had no choice but to double-team Goodwin, with Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant defending him together.

Even so, they only barely managed to contain him.

Goodwin did not force the issue, though. Instead, he wisely gave up the ball and let his teammates take up the offensive banner.

His teammates did not let him down. Derrick Rose hit a pull-up mid-range jumper. After cutting into the paint and receiving Rose's pass, Wade threw down a thunderous power dunk. Then Carmelo Anthony calmly knocked down a corner three, and after Dwight Howard grabbed an offensive rebound inside, he immediately put it back in...

The Eastern Conference All-Stars' flowing sequence of attacks kept sending their score higher and
