Goodwin is Too Charismatic

TD North Shore Garden Arena was packed to the rafters, every seat filled, the atmosphere electric. This historic arena was hosting a highly anticipated marquee matchup—the opening game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals series between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat.

Accompanied by commentator Mike Gorman's passionate voice and the fans' deafening cheers, the Boston Celtics players emerged from the tunnel one after another, their strides firm and confident.

However, when the final player stepped onto the court, Mike Gorman had not even had time to fully announce his name before the entire arena erupted into frenzied cheers. "MVP!" "MVP!" "MVP!"...

He was the undisputed MVP! Three full years later, the regular-season MVP honor had returned to Boston once again!

At nine o'clock that morning, the NBA officially announced the winners of the 2011–2012 season awards:

Season Most Valuable Player Award (MVP): Goodwin of the Boston Celtics. With staggering averages of 34.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 4.2 steals, and 3.3 blocks per game, he led the Boston Celtics to break the Los Angeles Lakers' 33-game winning streak record from the 1971–72 season, reclaim the top spot in the East and the entire league, and unquestionably claim this honor.

Season Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY): Tyson Chandler of the New York Knicks. Thanks to his outstanding defensive performance, the New York Knicks allowed a full 6.6 fewer points per game this season than they had last season.

Season Coach of the Year (COY): Without question, Celtics coach Jack, who led the team to a brilliant 60–6 record in the lockout-shortened season.

Season Rookie of the Year (ROY): Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who averaged 18.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
