"Daddy, I want ice cream!" Alissa blinked her bright, watery eyes and looked at Goodwin with a face full of anticipation.

Goodwin had finally gotten some time off to stay home with her, and Anne Hathaway happened to be out today. Naturally, Alissa was not about to let such a perfect opportunity slip by. She clung tightly to Goodwin's large hand and began acting cute in a sweet, spoiled voice.

Looking at his adorable daughter, Goodwin could not help smiling indulgently. "Sweetheart, are you sure you want some? If Mommy finds out, we'll get scolded."
