Afternoon Nap

Su Chen and Yan Bingxue then came to rest on the school lawn.

Spring had arrived, and the grass on the lawn had come alive, stretching green as far as the eye could see. Bathed in sunlight, it lifted one's spirits.

"Hubby, it's so beautiful here!" Yan Bingxue said with a smile.

"Mm-hmm, it is!" Su Chen replied with a smile.

"Wife, let's rest here for a while!" Yan Bingxue said with a smile.

"Sure!" Su Chen said with a smile.

The two sat down on the grass by the school lake.

Before them lay the shimmering lake and willow trees with pale yellow branches. Yan Bingxue closed her eyes contentedly.

"Hubby, this place is wonderful!" Su Chen and Yan Bingxue sat side by side.

Under the sunlight, Yan Bingxue suddenly began to feel sleepy.

"Hubby, I'm a little tired!" Yan Bingxue said softly as she lay in Su Chen's arms.

"If you're tired, lean on your hubby and sleep for a while," Su Chen said with a smile.

Yan Bingxue nodded with a smile as she looked at Su Chen.

Yan Bingxue closed her eyes peacefully and enjoyed the afternoon. Before long, she fell asleep. Su Chen draped his jacket over her and gazed at her quietly, an indescribable joy filling his heart.

Su Chen had never imagined that one day, he would be able to sit on the grass by the school lake with the person he loved, enjoying the afternoon sunshine so leisurely.

At that moment, he could think about anything, or nothing at all. The breeze stirred Yan Bingxue's hair, and Su Chen gently tucked her loose strands back. Even in her sleep, Yan Bingxue wore a sweet smile and an elegant expression. Su Chen looked at her with great delight.
